The story and details

The story: From Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji (c. 1831). Hokusai loves to put people and their small, curious business in front of the mountain: here three men stretch their arms around a tree too big to hold — a scene full of good humour — and the trunk cuts the view of Fuji in two.

Details: Glossy black ceramic · 11 oz or 15 oz · the picture printed on both sides with the artist’s name beneath · dishwasher-safe (top rack) and microwave-safe · lead- and BPA-free.
