The story and details
The story: Also from One Hundred Famous Views of Edo. Hiroshige draws the rain itself — two layers of slanting lines cut into the block — something European painters had hardly tried. Van Gogh copied this print as well, in 1887; his version is on another mug in this shop.
Details: Glossy white ceramic · 11 oz · the picture printed on both sides with the artist’s name beneath · dishwasher- and microwave-safe · lead- and BPA-free.
